The food was delicious. Nothing we tried off the buffet was bad. Waitress was friendly and prompt as well. We would even be willing to drive the hour and a half from the house to go back again! A note of those 1st timers like we were the two doors is the exit only, so they don't open from the outside. You have to go to the single door kind of on the side. They also have a drive through
First time eating here so I was a little nervous. But the food was delicious and the staff was friendly! I will be eating there again and I definitely recommend it. (The spaghetti and pulled pork were my favorite!)
The food at Fried Tomato Buffet is bomb.com. Today, my server was Laurie, and she was great. I never had to ask for refills. Hr attitude was great! All the staff at this restaurant are awesome, and since I'm regular, they treat me like I'm a friend. The food is always served fresh and hot! They have such a large variety of food options. There's something for everyone! I appreciate the kid friendly and family centered environment... The bathrooms are always clean, and the overall appearance of the reztaraunt is clean. Will continue to dine here and bring others to this treasure. I would like to thank my friend Mrs. S Blakely for showing me this wonderful place.

Nice little buffet in Montgomery, AL. Looks to have replaced a Ryan's. The price was great and all the different foods I tried were. I personally found the BBQ beans kinda neat as they had bacon bits in them.
Always worth the stop. Whenever we drive down for vacation we always make a point to stop. Food is fresh and there are plenty of choices. We have a picky eater that was able to get her fill. We typically take a while at restaurants with 3 small children and they don't mind at all. If you're in the area and only planning on 1 meal, it's worth the stop.
Well friends I finally made it ... I had the pleasure to have lunch at the Montgomery Fried Tomato and it was a buffet delight. I ate from the whole buffet and all items were seasoned and prepared perfectly.. I ate so many one Spooner's that I almost passed out .. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The staff is very attentive to the customers. So yes I will return.. after I knock off a few more eateries on my bucket list. Plus they have seniors and military discount ..
The portions are HUGE! I had a veggie plate, and it did not disappoint at all!! Will definitely be returning soon!
